Ninja FrostVault Features
The Ninja FrostVault is a premium outdoor cooler that has superior ice retention technology and promises to keep foods cool for days.
The FrostVault has a separate Dry Zone that will keep foods cold and prevent them from getting soggy and squished by separating the food from the ice. The Dry Zone will keep foods at a food safe temperature (under 40° F) for days.
The FrostVault has a heavy duty construction with 3 inches of insulation to retain its cold temperatures for an extended period of time.
The FrostVault Comes in Two Sizes
The Ninja FrostVault comes in two sizes.
The 50 quart version of the cooler has enough room to fit 80 cans or 50 bottles of your favorite beverage! It is 32.25 inches long, 17″ deep, and 18.75 inches high. When empty, it weighs 29 lbs, and it will weigh 45 lbs when filled with ice.
The 30 quart version of the cooler can fit 48 cans of your favorite beverage! It is 24 inches long, 17 inches deep, and 18.75 inches high. When empty, it weighs 20 lbs, and it will weigh 28.5 lbs when filled with ice.
It comes with a lockable lid, which makes sense given that it’s called a “vault”. It also comes with a limited 5 year warranty.
Ninja FrostVault Wishlist
The only thing that the Ninja FrostVault seems to be lacking is a set of wheels for easy transport. However, it does have a set of easy-carry handles. Knowing Ninja’s constant drive to innovate, I would not doubt if the next iteration of the FrostVault has this much needed feature.
Ninja's Outdoor Lineup of Products
The FrostVault is an exciting product for Ninja as it positions the company to be a direct competitor of industry leaders like Yeti.. A portable cooler is also a great new addition to Ninja’s growing outdoor lineup of products. They’ve recently released a line of outdoor smokers, including the Ninja Woodfire Grill and the Ninja Woodfire Oven.
I look forward to providing a more in-depth review when my unit arrives. Be sure to bookmark this page to stay updated!

What power source does the FrostVault use? Or is it just cooled with ice?
There is no power source. The Ninja FrostVault is just cooled with ice. I hope this answers your question.
It does, thank you. I was hoping it ran on batteries. I’d like to find a battery operated one for the car.
