This homemade Maple Bliss Gelato recipe marries the comforting warmth of maple syrup with the velvety smoothness of gelato.
Maple Bliss Gelato is a decadent frozen treat that captures the essence of fall in every spoonful. Made with a combination of egg yolks, maple syrup, sugar, whipping cream, and milk, this indulgent dessert offers a a divine flavour and texture that will leave you craving more.
With the Ninja CREAMi, making Maple Bliss Gelato is a breeze. Simply mix a few basic ingredients, freeze the batch overnight, then churn it in the machine the next day. Easy as that!

INSTRUCTIONS
 
  • Combine egg yolks, maple syrup, and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Whisk thoroughly until all ingredients are fully mixed and the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Pour whipping cream and milk into the saucepan with the egg yolk mixture. Stir gently until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Set the saucepan on the stove over medium heat and begin stirring the mixture constantly using a rubber spatula. Continue to cook while monitoring the temperature with an instant-read thermometer. Cook until the temperature reaches between 165°F to 175°F.

  • After reaching the desired temperature, remove the saucepan from the heat. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into an empty CREAMi Pint container. Set the pint into an ice bath to cool it down. Once cooled, cover the pint with the storage lid and place it in the freezer. Allow it to freeze for 24 hours before serving.
  • Once the 24-hour freezing period is over, retrieve the pint container from the freezer and remove its lid. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to assemble the bowl.
  • Select the GELATO setting and start processing. Then, indulge in your delicious homemade gelato. Enjoy!
