Ninja has announced the release of a new product: the Ninja ProChef connected thermometer.
This is a wireless thermometer that can be connected to your smartphone via an app. It’s flame resistant, and Ninja says it can withstand temperatures of 700°F (370°C)! The battery is marketed as lasting for 30 hours, which should comfortably cover even your longest smoking sessions.
The Ninja ProConnect App will give you temperature recommendations as well as monitoring your food for more accurate estimated finish times. With live cooking updates available from up to 165 ft away, you can effortlessly attend to other tasks while your food cooks.
This Ninja wireless thermometer can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Ninja ProChef vs. MEATER wireless thermometers
The Ninja ProChef wireless thermometer is an excellent complement to the Ninja Outdoor collection, which includes smoker grills and ovens (read our comparison of Ninja Woodfire products here).
The release of the ProChef positions Ninja to directly compete in the wireless thermometer market, alongside competitors like MEATER wireless thermometers. There’s not enough information yet to do a comprehensive comparison between the Ninja ProChef and MEATER thermometers. Rest assured, once we have the necessary details, we’ll provide you with a thorough analysis outlining the similarities and differences between the two products.
As of now, there’s no official release date for the Ninja ProChef. Ideally, it should be ready for purchase in the summer of 2024, just in time for outdoor barbecues and gatherings. We anticipate receiving more details as the release date draws nearer.
