With the upcoming release of the Breville InFizz Fusion and Aqua in North America, we thought it would be useful to do a comparison between these two at-home beverage carbonation models from Breville, alongside a competitor’s model offering similar functions: the DrinkMate OmniFizz.

Breville InFizz Fusion vs. Breville InFizz Aqua

The Breville InFizz Aqua is made for carbonating water exclusively. However, if you want more versatility, opt for the Breville InFizz Fusion, which extends carbonation to various cold beverages, including water, juices, and even alcoholic drinks like wine and cocktails!  Plus, it can even re-carbonate flat soda, offering added convenience.

With the Breville InFizz Fusion, you get the added advantage of the FusionCap. This innovative feature allows you to control the release of CO2, preventing your carbonated beverage from overflowing and making a mess.

Both models of the Breville InFizz operate without needing electrical power or batteries, allowing you to place them conveniently anywhere in your kitchen.

Both the Breville InFizz Fusion and InFizz Aqua come with a 1L bottle, allowing you to fill them with your pre-carbonated beverages and store them conveniently after carbonation. Both utilize a standard 60L gas canister, making it easy to find and refill when needed.

Breville InFizz vs. DrinkMate OmniFizz

If you’re considering alternatives to the Breville InFizz Fusion, the DrinkMate OmniFizz is worth exploring. First released in 2015, it offers the same capability to carbonate any cold beverage as the Breville InFizz Fusion. While it’s a more budget-friendly option, it lacks the sleek design of the Breville InFizz Fusion. Similar to the InFizz Fusion, the DrinkMate operates without electricity or batteries, allowing for flexible placement anywhere in the kitchen.

Like the Breville InFizz models, the DrinkMate OmniFizz utilizes standard 60L gas canisters for easy refilling. It also comes with a 1L bottle for your beverages, along with an additional 0.5L bottle, making it more flexible for smaller quantities.
