NEW: Ninja CREAMi Breeze

I love my Ninja CREAMi. It makes homemade ice cream making a breeze! Not only is it easy to use, but it creates a dense and creamy texture that I have not been able to replicate on other consumer ice cream makers.

Last year, Ninja came out with the CREAMi Deluxe (NC501), which promises more features and larger capacity. More recently, Ninja released the Ninja CREAMi Breeze (NC201), which promises to be more space efficient. But are either really worth upgrading to these new Ninja CREAMi models?

In order to help you make a decision between the different versions of the Ninja CREAMi out there, I’ve created a handy comparison table below. Be sure to reference it before making your final decision!

The Original Ninja CREAMi Model

While many think the popular Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 was the original CREAMi model, there was a 5-in-1 (NC300) model that is now discontinued.  This model was short lived and was soon replaced by the Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 (NC301). Be sure to check out my in-depth Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 review.

Color Options

In addition to black, the regular Ninja CREAMi also comes in a variety of colour options, such as red, blue, white, rose gold, and silver, allowing you to match any kitchen style.

The Original Ninja CREAMi vs. Deluxe

In September 2022, Ninja released the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1, which promises more functionality than the previous 7-in-1 and 5-in-1 versions. Compared to the original Ninja CREAMi model, the Deluxe model also offers larger container sizes.

The Original Ninja CREAMi vs. Breeze

Most recently, in May 2023, Ninja released the Ninja CREAMi Breeze (NC201). The Breeze comes with all the features of Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1, but is designed to save you valuable counter space. If you want more details about this new model, be sure to read our overview of the Ninja CREAMi Breeze.

What comes with the Ninja CREAMi?

Final Verdict: Is the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe or Breeze Worth The Upgrade?

All in all, the Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 is a fantastic machine that has served me well. If you currently own a Ninja CREAMi 7-in-1 it may be worth upgrading to the Deluxe if you want to take advantage of the larger container size to make larger quantities of ice cream; it may also be worth upgrading to the Deluxe if the extra preset programs are worth it to you. Do keep in mind though that the Deluxe version of the Ninja CREAMi is missing the Smoothie Bowl program; otherwise, the Deluxe version contains all the same programs as the 7-in-1 and then some more.

Upgrading to the Ninja CREAMi Breeze may be worth it if you have a small kitchen and want to save valuable kitchen counter space. With the Ninja CREAMi Breeze, you get all the features of the 7-in-1, but with a smaller footprint.

If you are brand new to the Ninja CREAMi world, then I suggest splurging on the Deluxe for the added capacity and features; however, you won’t go wrong with the 7-in-1 or Breeze if you need to save the money.

I hope this overview of the Ninja CREAMi 5-in-1, 7-in-1, Deluxe 11-in-1, and Breeze was useful. Be sure to leave comments below letting us know which one you own and how it works for you!

Which model is the quietest? I have heard that some of them are really noisy.

Is it possible to get one in Europe?
I mean there’s no way to find the deluxe version available to Europe.

Is it because we have 230V and the machine is only for 110V??

Thank for all your reviews

I hade the 7 in one and am totally happy with it! Just two us us at home so the smaller 16 oz are perfect though I want to get more pints for it so we have more selection when choosing desert at night haha

What is a good price for the deluxe?

Can you not do shaved ice with the standard model? Do the extra functions really matter?

I just purchased the Deluxe version about 2 weeks ago. I can’t make a comparison of the two but I chose to go for the latest version to allow for the older models to have gone through any qwerks or issues. The new version handles 24 oz. vs. 16 oz so more for less prep time. So far enjoying the various ice cream and sorbet recipes. I think the slushies will come by the summer.

That’s great. I hope you are enjoying it. It’s been a great addition to my home since I can control my ingredients and make non-dairy versions of ice cream because milk increases my allergy symptoms. Enjoy!
